To simplify the authorization process for users connecting their Google Calendar or Gmail accounts, Webba Booking securely stores Google authorization tokens on our servers.
These tokens are used only to maintain the connection between the Webba Booking plugin and the Google services explicitly authorized by the user.
For Google Calendar integrations, tokens are used to allow the plugin to perform the calendar-related actions configured by the user.
For Gmail integrations, tokens are used to send booking-related emails from the user’s Gmail account on behalf of the user. Webba Booking only performs email actions initiated or configured by the user through the plugin.
We do not use Gmail authorization to read, download, or store the contents of the user’s inbox or unrelated emails.
Email content and recipient information required to send an email may be transmitted through our servers for the purpose of processing and delivering that email. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to providing the requested Gmail integration.

We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data, including authorization tokens, email content, recipient information, or calendar data, to third parties except where necessary to provide the requested functionality, comply with applicable law, or protect the security and integrity of our services.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We protect Google user data (including OAuth authorization tokens, the authorized Gmail address, and email content transmitted solely to send booking notifications) using the following safeguards:
1. Encryption in transit — All communication between the Webba Booking plugin, our servers, and Google APIs is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
2. Encryption at rest — Authorization tokens and related Google user data are stored in a managed database with encryption at rest provided by our hosting infrastructure.
3. Access controls — Access to Google authorization tokens and related data is restricted to authenticated, authorized systems and personnel needed to operate the Gmail and Google Calendar integrations. Tokens are not exposed in public interfaces.
4. Least privilege — For Gmail, we request only the permissions needed to send booking-related emails and to resolve the authorized mailbox address. We do not read inbox contents or unrelated emails.
5. Limited retention and deletion — Google authorization tokens are retained only while the integration remains connected. When a user disconnects Gmail or Google Calendar in Webba Booking, or revokes access in their Google Account, we delete the stored tokens associated with that connection.
