User Dashboard

Quick links:

The User Dashboard is a powerful feature that enhances the convenience and independence of your customers by allowing them to manage their bookings directly through your website. With the User Dashboard, users can:

  • Cancel bookings.
  • Modify their existing bookings.

This eliminates the need for users to contact service providers via email, streamlining the booking management process.

Setting Up the User Dashboard

To place the User Dashboard on any page of your WordPress site, use the following shortcode:

[webba_user_dashboard]

Simply add this shortcode to the desired page or post, and the User Dashboard will be displayed.

Enabling Automatic User Account Creation

To enable the automatic creation of a WordPress user account when a booking is made enable the following option:

  1. Go to Settings > Booking Rules > Advanced Settings.
  2. Enable the Create user account on booking feature.

Customizing Dashboard Labels and Texts

You can customize the labels and texts displayed on the User Dashboard to better suit your website’s branding or user needs. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Wording/Translation > Advanced Settings.
  2. Adjust the following labels and texts as needed (see the screenshot below):

Customizing the User Welcome Email

When a user account is automatically created, the system sends a welcome email to the user. You can customize the contents of this email to match your brand tone and provide relevant information:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Email Notifications.
  2. Adjust the Welcome email subject and Welcome email body fields.

With these settings configured, the User Dashboard will enhance your booking system’s user experience, making it more user-friendly and efficient.
