How to set up Stripe payments?

To enable online payments via Stripe in Webba Booking, you’ll need a Stripe account and the associated API credentials. Follow these steps to set up Stripe for your booking system:

Step 1: Log in to your Stripe dashboard account and go to the Developers section. In the left side navigation click on “API keys”

Step 2: Locate and copy Publishable key and Secret key.

Step 3: Go to Webba Booking –> Settings –> Stripe and paste the keys in the respective fields

Confirm the setup by pressing “Save” and you’ve successfully set up the integration with Stripe.

How to activate Apple Pay / Google Pay and other Local Payment Methods?

By default, Stripe integration activates Credit Card payments only.

In order to accept more payment methods through Stripe like Apple Pay or Google Pay, follow these steps:

1. Login into your Stripe Account
2. Go to Settings by clicking on Settings wheel in top-right corner

3. Go to Payments -> Payment Methods

4. Enable Payment methods you want to have in Webba by clicking 3 dots and choosing “Turn on”.

How to add Stripe payments methods to a service?

Ensure that your Stripe setup is finalized in Webba and then follow these steps:

1. Go to the Services page on your Webba Booking dashboard.
2. Either edit an existing service or create a new one by selecting the service.
3. In the service’s popup window, navigate to the “Pricing” tab.
4. In the “Payment methods” section, select one or all of these options as the preferred payment method: “Credit Card” “Apple Pay” “Google Pay” “Other Methods”
5. Save your changes by clicking the “Save” button.

By completing these steps, you’ll have successfully configured Stripe as the payment method for your service in Webba Booking.

Stripe Settings

In the Webba Settings –> Stripe you have the option to adjust various configurations to enhance your integration with Webba Booking. Here are some settings you can customize:

• Stripe Currency: Choose the currency for Stripe payments.
• Load Stripe JavaScript: Specify how the Stripe JavaScript should be loaded.
• Load Stripe API: Set to ‘no’ or ‘6.21.1’ only if there’s a conflict with another Stripe-using plugin.
• Hide the postal code field: Toggle to hide the postal code field in the Stripe checkout.
• Override Stripe card element error messages: Enable to customize error messages for Stripe card elements via Wording/Translation -> Advanced Settings.
• Additional payment information: Select extra fields for the Stripe payment process.
• Redirect to page when payment is successful: Enter the URL for customer redirection after successful payment; leave empty to stay on the booking form page.
• Font size for card element on mobile devices: Set font size for mobile card elements; leave empty for the default size.
• Set status after booking is paid with Stripe to: Choose how to update the booking status after payment with Stripe. To maintain the current status, select “Based on status before payment.”
