Introducing Webba 6.3.0 — Easier, Better, Faster

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Webba Booking 6.3.0, another fundamental update with a goal to make Webba the best booking plugin out there.

This new version focuses on an improved UX/UI for setting up Webba for the first time and managing it along the way.

New release will start rolling out in January 2026, starting first with PRO users.

🚨 IMPORTANT: Once updated, please review the following settings:

Settings options

  1. Payments > General > Currency Symbol – only price symbol without placeholder (#price)
  2. Payments > General > Add Tax on top of the service price – Enable if previous tax was not empty and greater than 0 or Do not tax the service fee was enabled, otherwise disabled
  3. Payments > PayPal > Redirect to page when payment is successful – The selected should be the same page of previously saved URL
  4. Payments > Stripe > Redirect to page when payment is successful – The selected should be the same page of previously saved URL

Service options

  1. Pricing > Enable service fee – Enabled if previous service fee was greater than 0
  2. Availability > Override global availability – Enabled
  3. Availability > Override global timeslot intervals (step) – Enabled

Don’t like the new look? You can rollback to the last version. Here is how:

If you are using PRO version:

  1. Download latest stable version from this URL: Download
  2. Uninstall the Webba 6 version currently installed on your website.
  3. Install the version file you downloaded.
  4. Please make sure your license is activated. You can do this by going to the “Account” page under the Webba Account settings in your WordPress dashboard.

Your data should remain intact, but we strongly recommend making a full backup of your website before proceeding — just in case any unexpected issues occur during the downgrade process.

If you are using FREE/LITE version:

  1. Go to WordPress.org and choose a version you want to download
  2. Uninstall the Webba 6 version currently installed on your website.
  3. Install the version file you downloaded.

Your data should remain intact, but we strongly recommend making a full backup of your website before proceeding — just in case any unexpected issues occur during the downgrade process.

✅ SETTINGS UPDATE

New Settings Layout

With Webba 6.3.0, settings are now organized into clear categories, so everything feels more logical and easier to manage:

The new Settings section is grouped into key areas:

  • General Settings — core plugin preferences and admin interface
  • Advanced Booking Rules — booking rules, restrictions, booking form settings
  • Global Availability & Holidays — define working hours once for all services
  • Notifications — email and SMS notification settings in one place
  • Payments — currency + tax options + integrations (PayPal, Stripe, WooCommerce)
  • Integrations — external tools like Google Calendar, and Zoom
  • Wording / Translation — customize texts and translated labels grouped by location

New Settings Added in 6.3.0

In Webba 6.3.0, we redesigned the Settings screen by adding tabs to make it cleaner, easier to navigate, and more consistent across all settings pages.

There are also several new settings added in Webba 6.3.0, making setup more flexible and easier to fine-tune for your business.

⚙️ General Settings

  • Date Format: Choose how dates are shown in your booking form and notifications.
  • Time Format: Choose between 12-hour or 24-hour time format.
  • Week starts on: Choose whether the calendar starts on Monday, Saturday or Sunday.

🔔 Notifications

  • Global Admin Notifications Email(s): Set the main email address(es) that should receive booking notifications. You can add multiple emails separated by commas.

💳 Payments

  • Currency Symbol: Choose the symbol or currency text shown across the booking form and payment summary (e.g. $, €, USD).
  • Show currency symbol before/after: Decide how prices are displayed: $10 (before) or 10$ (after).
  • Add Tax on top of the service price: If enabled, tax is added on top of the service price. If disabled, prices are treated as tax-included and Webba will display “Tax included” in the summary.

🕒 Global Availability & Holidays

  • Set global working hours: Define your default working hours once and apply them to all services (services can still have their own custom schedule if needed).

📅 Advanced Booking Rules

  • Allow to book only these many days in advance: Limit how far into the future customers can book your services.
  • Enable Timezone picker in the booking form: Allow customers to select their timezone during booking (useful for international bookings).
  • Enable Booking Instructions in confirmation step: Show additional notes or instructions to customers on the confirmation step before they complete the booking.

✅ SERVICE SETTINGS UPDATE

In Webba 6.3.0, we redesigned the Add Service / Edit Service screen and tabs to make service setup faster, cleaner, and easier to understand.

Here’s an overview of new and updated service settings:

  • Category: Assign a category to a service to directly in the editing screen.
  • Override main notifications email(s): If a specific service needs different staff emails than your global notification settings, you can now override them per service.
  • Email address(es) (if Override enabled): Enter one or multiple notification emails (comma-separated) that should receive bookings only for this service.
  • Override global availability: If a service has different working hours than your global schedule, you can enable this and define custom availability for that service.
  • Override global availability for specific days only (Plus plan): Allow a service to follow a different schedule on selected dates.
  • Do not show price (Start plan): For bookings where price should not be visible.
  • Take deposit instead of full payment (Pro plan): Let customers pay only part of the total amount during booking, and pay the rest later.
  • Show “from” label next to the price (Pro plan): Enable a “from” label when the final price depends on selected options or later pricing rules.
